India visa update

The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi says Indian consular, passport, visa and attestation services in the UAE were outsourced to Al Hind Tours & Travels with effect from 22 July 2026. Services are provided through 16 Indian Consular Application Centres (ICACs) across the UAE.
The embassy guidance also states that these outsourced services are no longer available at the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi or the Consulate General of India in Dubai premises.
According to the embassy notice, applicants can book appointments through the official service arrangement at consularsevainuae.com. Appointment slots are released at 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM daily. The published service timing for the ICAC network is 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and applicants are advised to arrive only shortly before their appointment.
Before booking, choose the correct service category and make sure names, passport details and other appointment information are entered accurately.
Open the latest Embassy of India notice, confirm the correct ICAC, check the service-specific document checklist and verify the current fee/appointment instructions. Do not rely on an older BLS or embassy-counter process if the service has moved to the new network.
